Privacy and document retention
A plain-language draft of what VenueTrue stores, why it is needed, and what remains unapproved before launch.
This is not yet an approved customer policy. It records the behavior currently built into the MVP and names the decisions that still block live sales.
What the project needs
VenueTrue stores the wedding scenario you enter, private proposal files, extracted facts and excerpts, corrections, generated venue questions, credit and project state, and a minimal payment reference. These records are used to build and preserve your comparison.
Landing and fictional-sample activity may be counted with a random browser-session identifier that is hashed before storage. Project interaction events are tied to the signed-in owner and project only after server-side ownership checks.
VenueTrue should not place proposal filenames, excerpts, wedding notes, document amounts, or passwords in analytics, payment metadata, or application logs.
Documents and structured evidence
Original proposal bytes are stored privately and receive a deletion deadline 30 days after their latest analysis. The hosted automatic deletion schedule has not yet been verified, so the public product does not yet promise that deletion happens automatically. A customer-controlled Delete now action is part of the MVP.
Deleting an original document can leave its extracted figures and source excerpts in the project so the comparison remains usable. Deleting the whole project is intended to remove the scenario, documents, extracted content, corrections, questions, and project-linked feedback.
Service providers
Live document analysis is disabled until the founder approves a model provider, model, and customer-data terms. When enabled, the approved provider will receive the document content required for extraction. This draft does not claim that provider data is never retained or never used for training.
Live payment uses a hosted checkout provider when configured. Card details are entered on that provider’s hosted page and are not designed to enter VenueTrue’s project database.
Decisions still required
- Final legal controller/contact details and customer rights process.
- Approved extraction provider and its retention or training terms.
- Payment-record retention and the hosted deletion schedule.
- Final public authentication method.
